I found these fabulous gray pearl beads and fell in love with them. They are so sleek and classy. I’ve been trying to find a way to use them. I started playing around with some 
different beads mixing and matching. I love the combination of the smooth sleek pearls with the natural irregular white pearls. Adding the metal gave it the added extra contemporary look it needed.

I’ve always liked this necklace. It was one of those many pieces that almost created itself. I just fell in love with the blues because they do remind me of the ocean. I created this one last spring when I was just getting started, and the most exciting thing for me is it was the first piece I sold. So I guess somebody else liked it too!
I have always had a creative side lurking inside of me. Sometimes I embrace it, and other times I have hidden it, but the days of hiding it are well over! When I left the Interior Design arena in my professional life, I had to find a new creative outlet. I did a lot of jewelry creating as a teenager. However, now my talent of jewelry design has taken on a life of it’s own, and my poor husband may say it has taken over! Regardless, he supports me in all that I do. 
So, it is time for me to share my love of jewelry designing with my friends and family. Up to this point I have only done beading mixing in some wire work, but my designs will soon be developing even more as I have recently started taking a Jewelry Design class at the Mesa Arts Center. I am very excited!!
The hope is simply that this blog can keep up with all of my new pieces. With wedding stuff finished, I find my fingers constantly itching to play with beads and wire, and now I can focus on getting my business up and running. I hope you enjoy.
